I love papercrafting – the inking and stamping, the die cutting, the assembly of the project – all the way to the beginning with the cutting and prepping of the card stock. But papercrafting would be a bit boring if you didn’t add variety and interest through the use of techniques, fun folds, heat embossing, etc. It’s these things that make your crafting unique! So, anytime we can incorporate something different to our crafting it ups the WOW factor, don’t you think?

Last night Pam shared the Split Card Technique on our private FB group page – Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam And Lola – and I loved it!!! Simple and easy to recreate, yet each card is unique because of the placement order of mats, etc. She gave credit to Lisa Freeman for sharing this technique!!! Thank you Lisa!

Would you like to see how easy it is to recreate these cards? Click on the link below and request to join our group!!! Pam and I started this group 4 years ago during COVID to keep our people connected and crafting. Even though we are back to gathering in person we still try to gather once a week – depending our schedules – to share ideas, projects, new products, etc. with our crafting friends. We are over 400 strong from all over the US and the world – a group of like minded people who ae connected through the love of paper crafting!!! And there is always room for more, so request to join us!!!!

I’m heading to a retreat locally this weekend, and my first project is to color and finish all of my Christmas cards from this week’s class. I usually prep 5-6 kits more so that I will also have Christmas cards ready to go come Dec. Yesterday, before I cleaned up and put everything away, I stamped 10 of each card so my first 40 will be completely ready at the end of today. Planning ahead!!!
My kits for those signed up online will be mailing out tomorrow morning, and tomorrow at the retreat I’ll be busy putting the tutorial together and emailing out. Not much crafting, BUT when this is finished I’m moving on to my next classes! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!!
