On Monday’s FB LIVE, I shared a fun and quick way to stamp 4 card fronts all at one time – it’s Quadrant Stamping!!! This has been around for some time, so maybe you didn’t know it by that name, but it’s a speedy way to churn out multiple cards, yet each is different and unique! This is a perfect method to crank out extra Christmas cards when you get down to the wire, fast and simple thank you cards for several people, or for any occassion. A friend and I are thinking about using this technique for baby thank yous as well! So many ways to put this to good use.

All of the cards above have Cherry Cobbler bases, a mat of Very Vanilla and a smaller mat of DSP from the Season Of Green And Gold Suite found in the online exclusives. The smaller Cherry Cobbler mat and the stamped Very Vanilla mat are popped up with dimensionals. But it’s how you go about stamping those Very Vanilla mats before cutting apart that makes this easy.
For this card, I wanted a Very Vanilla mat measuring 3.5 inches by 4.5 inches. Working with a large piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring 7 by 9 inches I scored it in the middle from both sides – at 3.5 inches, rotate the card stock 90 degrees, then score at 4.5 inches. This gives you 4 Very Vanilla mats when we cut them apart – but don’t cut yet!!!
I chose the Golden Greenery stamp set and used the color combo of Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler – perfect for Christmas cards. Beginning with the largest image, I stamped several times in the areas of the score lines. Some images crossed the score line into the other quadrant areas. Moving on to the 2nd largest stamp and working through to the smallest, I continued to add images to fill in all areas on each side of the score lines. When you are finished, your card stock will look somewhat like a cross with images overlapping each other and the score lines.
Cut the large Very Vanilla mat on the score lines, giving you 4 smaller mats. These can now be stamped with the greeting and feel free to turn and rotate to the orientation you like! Make them unique!

Above is another view of the card, but this time I used the Gold and Very Vanilla DSP instead. I kind of like it with the lighter mat! How about you?
It may sound somewhat confusing, so I uploaded the FB LIVE to my youtube channel for viewing later. While you are checking it out, please subscribe to my channel. My thumbnail sketch will always be one that shows the project, so it is SO MUCH easier than clicking on all the FB recordings to find the exact one you need!
I will pop back in on the next day to share the cards I stamped first with the Textured Florals as well as the ones I stamped with the Transparent Floral stamp sets. I’m not sure which one I prefer the best – all turned out pretty! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, give quadrant stamping a try, and God Bless!!!
