This past week was a whirlwind of activities- Disney parks, meals, travel, friends, – the list goes on. We were home by late afternoon and I fell asleep in my recliner, not once but TWICE before bedtime! We zipped over to see our grandsons (and their parents!) because I needed a grandbaby fix, then I allowed myself the remainder of Sunday to sit and be a slug, but today we hit the ground running!
What’s On This Week????
I’m finishing up the prep for Bingo displays today, but planning to also resume our schedule:
- Later today, May 19 -I will be live on my business page at 4:30!
- Tuesday, May 20 – In Person Bingo at Zion Lutheran Church beginning at 6pm!
- Wednesday, May 21 – Pam and I will be live 7pm on our group page!
- Saturday – May 24 – watch for another POP UP CLASS heading our way!!!!
- Next week – info on a new opportunity with scrapbooking!
Throw in a couple of personal appointments, a couple of church activities, and plans with friends one night and the week is already loaded. Oh, and somewhere in there I have to unpack the suitcase that I’ve yet to touch!!!!! SO NOT ME!!!! That in itself shows how tired I was cause I put things away as soon as we are home!
Final Thoughts….
I do love travelling, but I love coming home even more. Maybe not the whole “laundry galore and playing catch up to everything we left behind” but the feeling of contentment being in our comfort zone, back together with Pool Boy and Shelby the canine diva, and sleeping in our own bed. Dorothy hit it right on the nail – “there’s no place like home”.
Thank you Lord for home!!!! More tomorrow, but for now the suitcase is calling!!!!! God Bless!!!
