We’ve had a busy day here in Branson with the girls, starting with several hours enjoying Fritz’s Adventures. This was a PERFECT activity for a hot day and they burned plenty of energy climbing and working through aerial challenges.
Nana spent most of the time looking up and trying to keep an eye on the girls, taking pictures, and sending to Papa and their mom. Nora’s walking a balance beam about 20 feet off the ground here, while Fiona took off and found the zipline more like 30 feet high! They spent most of the morning working their way through all of the challenges and even though there were quite a few people there, they had little to no wait time between. I was surprised how easy it was for them to travel from challenge to challenge by the harness strap above their heads and little “round abouts” to change from one challenge to the next. It was amazing.
There were tunnels, a climbing wall, slides, rope ladders, a lazer challenge, as well as activities for both older and younger kids, so really a fun place for the whole family.
After burning all of the energy climbing, we headed to lunch at Fritz’s Cafe. Fiona ordered a single slice of pizza that was more like THREE slices, but she ate all but the crust. Couldn’t believe she would do the justice she did to lunch!
Afternoon was spent swimming, then out to dinner to Florentina’s, then back to the condo for craft time. I grabbed one of the retired kits from our kits line – this one is the Robots – and the girls had – in Nora’s words – “a fantastic time crafting!” Fiona was wearing several shades of ink on her face but she was happy and it came off easy. Currently they are playing Uno with their mom and Papa, then it’s off to reading then bed.
