Special Delivery From The North Pole AND Cal!

Pool Boy and I were on Papa/Nana duty from yesterday afternoon until this morning with grandson Cal. Now, my internal clock likes to get up between 7-7:30am, but not so much at 5:21am when Cal prefers to get up. Thankfully Papa Pool Boy is an early riser too, so they had some bonding time watching cartoons til I rolled out of bed.

We only had one meltdown – how dare I stop Toy Story to get him ready for bed!?!?! Took a bit of convincing him he WAS going to finish it, I just needed him in pjs first. Thankfully Toy Story only had about 20 minutes left cause I wasn’t going to stop it again. Afterwards, we read 2 books, sang 2 stories, and he walked to bed and was out in a couple of minutes, probably sooner than that. His momma and daddy have this bedtime routine down pat!

North Pole Delivery Suite!

I needed a quick card for today’s post since the weekend was loaded with prepping for the classes this week. With a quick pull of DSP, a Pool Party card base, and a few snips with the paper cutter I had this card together in no time. Not a single die cut was used! The North Pole Delivery DSP has two pages of pre-cut designs that work great with the paper. To finish the card off I used the Delightfully Decorative Dots (these are not part of the Suite). Quick, cute, and easy.

We introduced Cal to powdered sugar donuts last night, and this morning he was playing with his daddy’s legos and duplos. I really tried to get him to look up at me, but there was no doing – legos were more important than Nana obviously. Just wait til the Ghostbusters come out of storage!!

This is one of those weeks that we will be coming and going. I’ve Grandparent’s Tea this afternoon, along with three classes, and three appointments all crammed into the next 5 days. Getting started early last week prepping will definitely help. I’ll be back tomorrow but until then, have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!
