My Absolute Favorite Note Card Holder!

I’d like to say that today’s post will be my last one with the Gathering Together Suite because I’ve churned out lots of ideas with cards, gift ideas, and home decor lately, but since I still have plenty of DSP left over, pretty sure that statement will be false. Today’s work is centered around my favorite papercrafting activity – chopping paper! I have all of those samplers to prep, as well as my bingo make and take, AND the Light Hearted Card Class for Tuesday, so my audio book is loaded and ready to go for the paper cutting session.

This sweet little notecard holder above is without a doubt one of my favorite items to churn out. From start to finish it took me just over 30 minutes to score, fold, cut, and stamp. Would you believe that it’s made from a 12 x 12 piece of DSP WITH NO CUTTING AND NO ADHESIVE??? The first time I saw this I was amazed how slick it came together, and about every year or so I pull it out for projects.

I’ve given these little gems to classroom teachers with shool-themed DSP, Christmas gift ideas, baby showers, even one with a masculine theme!

Untie the bow, and tucked inside are 4 notecards and envelopes!!! Such a sweet little gift that has little cost and takes little time to create. The beautiful Gathering Together DSP is perfect for this sweet little gem, and other than the beautiful mats on the notecards, nothing else is needed!

Final Thoughts….

We’ve a busy weekend ahead, with dinner out with friends tonight, babysitting the grandsons tomorrow evening while the parent’s go out, and then the long KC Chiefs’ Game Day on Sunday. Here’s hoping the Chiefs are back on track cause I really don’t want to watch a Ravens’ team win. Driving home after the game is always easier when Pool Boy can listen to interviews and analysis WHEN the Chiefs win. It makes the drive faster, but we do NOT listen when we lose. No need to rehash what we sat through!

I’m moving to Halloween next week and am excited to pull the spooky, festive products from Stampin’ Up out again. The Spooky Sweet Suite is super fun and easy to design with because of the great DSP.
