If I ever needed the stars to align up perfectly, it’s this week! I tend to hold the majority of my classes during the first two weeks of the month, but with being gone all of next week to Back Stage in Las Vegas, I’ve squeezed almost everything into this week. Fall card class is prepped and packaged for Monday, Stamp ‘n Sip is prepped and packaged for Tuesday night, Technique #1 group comes on Wednesday and everything is prepped and ready to set up. which brings me to Thursday night’s MomCo Christmas tag class. Luckily Pam will help me to cut and prep Wednesday night after our FB LIVE, then I have Thursday to finish up for those 20 ladies coming to our event. Will be hectic for sure!
That get’s me to Friday and THEN I can start thinking about the 40 card swap I’m participating in after Back Stage, and the 15-20 card swap I’m participating in during Back Stage! Ideas are in my head, and ready to make. I’m looking forward to gathering with my stamping friends, and I’m pretty sure Pool Boy is looking forward to me being gone so he can have a break from running the cut and emboss machine! Did you notice that I didn’t schedule in the dreaded luggage packing??? Somethings are best left to the end!

I’m going to miss the beautiful DSPs and stamp sets Stampin’ Up produced for fall this year. The Gathering Moments DSP has been one of my favorites and I have used it for SO MANY projects and cards, yet I’m not tired of it. My favorite pattern in the package is the print above with the large leaves in Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Basic Beige, and Basic White. I used the same colors when stamping the Basic White square, and to add texture to the DSP mats, I embossed them with the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder.
I’ve purchased several packages of the Early Espresso/Old Olive baker’s twine to have on hand after fall. I love baker’s twine and we so rarely get these two colors in the product line. What I REALLY WISH is Stampin’ Up would come out with a large white baker’s twine and also a large black one, versus purchasing the essential baker’s twine packages. Several of the demos have mentioned the same wish, and trying to find it on Amazon with the same thickness is hit and miss.
Final Thoughts….
With the start of a new month we will be seeing the arrival of a couple of new kits to add to our collection. The Nutcracker tag kit and the two Christmas card kits – the Calm and Bright kit and also the Road To Christmas kit – were super popular and are all three currently unavailable. I hope Stampin’ Up will be restocking these since they were such big hits, but you need to be checking in every so often to see if they are available. Demos have no idea when kits will become available again, so it’s a watch and wait thing for all of us!
Until next time, have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!!!
