The “Kite Tail” Fun Fold For New Year’s!

Hey Friends!!! I went live yesterday with a fun fold for New Year’s since I’m trying to get back in my normal routine, but that’s not always easy! I also spent time working with the remaining pattern sheets from the Peaceful Garden DSP. I’m trying to get it used completely up before the new catalog goes live, and it’s perfect to use for multiple card ideas for our Blessings card ministry at our church.

We’ve had this card ministry going for over 6 years, and it’s time to do a bit of revamping of the program. I reached out to a church member to create a wooden box to hold a variety of cards – and yes, I used bribery to get his help! It’s amazing what a meal of mexican lasagna can accomplish! More on this to follow later in the week.

I received a card in the mail from Kristy Johnson using this cute fun fold, so I quickly sat down and recreated it for a New’s Year’s card. But what do you call it????? When I uploaded the video to my YouTube channel I needed a title, so I went with the “Kite Tail” fun fold. Once I stood this card up, I saw first a black diamond (by looking down on the top edge), but since I know other fun folds use diamond in the name I went with the Kite Tail. Once flat, this card fits in a regular size envelope! It’s cute and fun – perfect to add variety and interest to your paper crafting.

Pam and I will be live tonight on our FB group page Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam and Lola. We began this group page back during covid to keep our friends gathering, and it’s still going today. We try to do three weekly videos each month, but sometimes our classes and family cause use to cancel. Anyways, if you are not a member feel free to click on the link below and request to join. Word of caution though – we are NOT rehearsed, edited, perfect, and we have been known to say something inappropriate (including Pool Boy who sometimes wanders in to our video) – so if you are looking for perfection please don’t join us. We might drive you nuts!!! lol!
