Ringing In The January Events!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!! We celebrated the arrival of 2026 with the Eastern coast, then headed to bed. We had a short church service that night, then back home in pjs to relax, and it was enough excitement for me!

With the turning of the calendar it is also time to look at our upcoming events scheduled!!! I spent time today crafting and getting a head start on designing, and with the 2026 Spring mini catalog going live next week things will get back in the swing quickly.

Here’s what’s coming for January, along with important dates from Stampin’ Up:

• January 6 – Tuesday – Paper Share registration ends, Spring Mini Catalog goes live, New Kits arrive
• January 6 – Tuesday – MADE WITH LOVE TUTORIAL AVAILABLE as an ordering special!!! These cards are awesome!
• January 6 – Tuesday – Stamp ‘n Sip meets. Ugos for dinner at 4:30pm, Whistle Stop at 5:30pm for crafting. Bring your 6×12 frame (currently has the gingerbread piece)
• January 7 – Wednesday – Techniques #1 meets at 12 noon at my house
• January 14 – Wednesday – Techniques #2 meets at my house at 12 noon
• January 15 – Thursday – IN PERSON BINGO at 6pm – Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Cost is $30 with the goody bag valued at $25, and prizes are gift certificates. FYI: in case of weather, the backup date will be Thursday, January 22.
• January 20 – Tuesday – WINTER CARD CLASS (sympathy or birthday appropriate). This class is free with a minimum order, and available by mail and emailed tutorial! We will meet at the church from 1:30pm on.
• January 27 – ONLINE SPEED BINGO!!! Prizes include gift certificates!!! Goody Bag includes the REASON TO CELEBRATE STAMP SET and a variety of 5 celebration cards to make later!!!! This is always a FUN NIGHT so give it a try!!!!
• January 30 – Peaceful Garden Pop Up Class with 1/2 package of DSP AND the PRAYERS AND PROMISES STAMP SET!!!! Cost is $35 if picked up at my house, $40 to mail.

Final Thoughts….

Lots to do during the dreary days of winter – two game nights, two card classes, as well as our regular clubs. Tuesday, January 6 is our first day of the MADE WITH LOVE tutorial available by placing orders of $50. I’ll post a pic of the cards designed by myself, as well as Tina Barela and Bonnie Alexander and they are easy to replicate for Valentine’s Day!!!! Out of the 9 cards, 5 of them are fun folds. Those hats were part of our gifts from Stampin’ Up at Back Stage in November. They hired a company to bring a huge variety of cowboy hats, then we could embellish our hats however we wanted, and the company would even brand your initials and Stampin’ Up’s logo on the brim.

How to get it home???? Take it to the UPS store and SHIP IT! Better than wearing it on the plane!
