Good morning everyone and I hope this finds you safe after the massive snowstorm that covered so many states! We ended up with 6 inches of snow, but our daughter in St. Louis has over 12 inches and others south of us ended with much more. When you add on the whole frigid temps and wind chills, it was a weekend to hunker down and stay inside if at all possible.
Last week I shared the story of the kindle remote page turner. WELL GUESS WHAT???? My friend Arlene shared the love with me and gifted me a remote as well!!! It arrived in the mail Saturday and omg – it’s awesome!!! It takes a bit to get everything arranged and settled with propping up the kindle, but it truly is the epitome of luxury in winter weather!!! I have the coldest hands, so they were toasty under my heated blanket clicking and turning pages!!! Thank you so much Arlene for sharing the love with your gift, and it continues! My sister has arthritic hands and I knew this was perfect for her, so her remote page turner will be arriving later this week! (I did give her a heads up to watch for a delivery this week from her favorite sister. The fact that I’m her only sister is beside the point.)
A Valentine Banner For Valentine’s Day!
I’ve been requested to have a VALENTINE BANNER CLASS, so here is the info!
- In Person will be Friday, February 6 at 1pm at the Whistle Stop!
- It is also available as a class by mail, but know it will be the following week before delivery!
- I will run the THREE layers of banners and the TWO layers of letters for each kit.
- Each person will receive a variety package of the Made With Love DSP pieces to cut hearts – DIES and cut and emboss machine will be available for you to customize your banner
- Real Red, Poppy Parade, and Flirty Flamingo card stock will be available with adhesive back sheets for detailed dies
- BE ADVISED: You will need to supply your own ribbon to hang, so check your ribbon supply for 1/2 INCH white or red ribbon to use!
Cost is $35 in person, $40 for those wanting kits by mail. RSVP NO than FRIDAY, JANUARY 30 to allow time for prep work!!! Supplies are limited, so there is a minimum number of available kits!
THE MADE WITH LOVE TUTORIAL IS STILL AVAILABLE!
Bonnie Alexander, Tina Barela, and I teamed together to offer this collection of 9 beautiful Valentine cards – five of which are fun folds! – as an online ordering special! Place an online order of $50 or more in my online store and I will email the tutorial to you. We used the Made With Love Suite from the Spring mini catalog, but you can substitute what you have on hand to create these cards.

Final Thoughts…..
Right now, I also need a heated keyboard for my laptop because my fingers are frozen. Currently I have a space heater blowing on my hands as I type! Pool Boy and I hold hands during the sermons at church – something we’ve done for years! My hands are so cold from the organ keys and his are toasty and warm. My left hand goes under my leg, he holds my right one, and I can make it thru the remainder of the service with warm hands.
Maybe those heated gloves I use at the Chiefs’ games should be pulled out more often!!! Until next time, stay safe, stay warm, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!
