Loving The Party Banners And Alphabet Dies!

We are up and running – kind of anyways! Pool Boy is off to his wellness session, and after this quick post I’m packing up for my card class today. We had a good time at Stamp ‘n Sip last night working on our Valentine framed pieces. We first eat dinner at a little Italian restaurant called Ugos. We are mostly creatures of habit because you will find one of us eating a calzone, another one or two eating the seafood cannelloni, and at least one more, maybe two, eating sub sandwiches. Oh, and another gal loves the cheeseburger pizza. I go between the Italian pasta trio and a pizza with leftovers.

Last night I tried their special – the Pulled Pork pizza – and was it delicious!!! BBQ sauce replaced the tomato sauce, then loaded with pulled pork and diced onions. Cover that with melted cheese and it was wonderful. I did have them hold the jalapeno slices. This would be a great pizza idea for snacks during the Super Bowl this weekend!

I posted these pictures last week for a class idea, but wanted to come back and share. I love the Party Banners and Letters created by Stampin’ Up!, and have used them multiple times in class projects. There are several sizes of banners available included in the die set, and when layered you can create beautiful banners to use in your home.

I love to add embossing to the pennants for added texture and interest as well! Other banners I’ve created include a patriotic banner:

We had a beautiful Autumn banner as well, and I can’t believe I missed making one for Halloween!!!

We’ve used the smaller banner dies on cards, and did you catch the use of them in yesterday’s Stamp ‘n Sip project?

These dies are rather expensive but when you think we used the dies for every banner above – multiplied by 8-10 people per class – they have been used MANY multiple times!! These banner dies will stay in my craft supplies long after they are retired (hopefully several years down the road!)
