After these couple of weeks of warm weather I’m seeing the color change happen outside my kitchen window. My daffodils are pushing through the mulch, a couple of my flowering shrubs are getting buds, and the green is returning in the grass. I contacted our yard service about the scheduled spring clean up for Pool Boy, and all the while I’m thinking “it’s too early”. February 20 is a full month ahead of spring’s scheduled arrival, and you know I love those schedules, so much as I look forward to planting some flowers this year (I skipped my greenhouse pilgrimages with everything going on), I’m going to focus on using green hues in my paper crafting instead.
Seasonal Celebrations And Reason To Celebrate Together!

Which greens do you use the most of? Probably Old Olive is my first go to when I’m selecting green cardstock. I also love Granny Apple Green, and Shaded Spruce follows close behind. Surprisingly, Shy Shamrock (one of the 2025-2027 In Colors) is one of my least favorite. Just a tad too bright for me, but others might say it’s their favorite! That’s the beauty of Stampin’ Up!’s wide range of colors – everything will appeal to someone!!!
Today’s card uses Garden Green and Granny Apple Green as the color combo. Wondering where the striped DSP came from? It’s part of a new DSP coming our way in March and is full of soccer themed patterns. But there are a few patterns that can be used for things other than sports. I went searching for my Perennial Postage dies, then turned to my circle punches for the top layer.

TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY FOR FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders of $75 or more. I placed a large order for basic white card stock, envelopes, dimensionals, and clear envelopes, using up all of my bonus codes and gathering the shipping savings as well. Maybe not an exciting order BUT essentials are always the way to go when those shipping free days pop up! To access my online store, click on the link below:

Today’s plan is designing a St. Pat’s banner and getting a couple of more cards designed. Also – there’s an apple crisp to make so I have something sweet to share with our grandsons tonight. I originally thought it would be a peach crisp, but Pool Boy grabbed an apple package from the freezer instead, so I’ll just roll with it. Best part is the topping anyways!!!! Some people prefer oats in their crisp toppings, I prefer my topping with just flour. Do you have a preference????
Have a great day, a great weekend, and here’s hoping your Monday will be great too!!! Find some time to craft, to create, to do whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!!!!
