By the time this post arrives in your email Monday we will have already arrived home from the last dr. appointment this month! I have only myself to blame for taking a 7:45 AM appointment! Being the keeper of the schedules, when they asked if I wanted a morning or afternoon appointment, I’m the one who said “morning”, and now we will pay for it by leaving town at 6:30 AM to make the hour long drive to the dr’s office. Ugh
So I spent Sunday afternoon getting ready for this week’s posts, and we are focusing on the Homemade Sweetness Suite, found in the Online Exclusives this month. I love the paper, and the dies are so cute! I’m needing a new sampler for my island, so I grabbed the DSP, dies, and my mom’s pie plate to cut and prep for Monday’s FB LIVE.

I ended up with my mom’s pie plates (not because I was going to make pies, but everyone else already had pie plates and I just couldn’t let them go in the auction!) and I use them to corral my tiny dies and such when I’m doing a sampler. Pool Boy uses them when he’s breading fish or onion rings, and I HAVE made a couple of pies, but I’ve used them more times than not with crafting. What I wouldn’t give now for a piece of my mom’s cherry pie. It was the best!

I absolutely LOVE this jelly jar card from the bundle! It’s so stinkin’ cute, almost makes me want to can some jelly. Ok, not, but it IS cute, and super easy to recreate with the dies from the bundles. I especially love the label dies included in the bundle like the white one above.

In case you missed it, here is my swap from OnStage earlier this month, and I came home with multiple cards I will share this week using the products. This was definitely a popular set during OnStage swaps!
I’ll be sharing the sampler this afternoon during my FB LIVE at 4:30 pm central time, and I’d love for you join us. You need to know, I craft on the fly with a game plan in my head, some prep completed, BUT I may make a mistake. I’ve not put this sampler together except for the mats, so no telling what it will look like, so I give you fair warning. And I’ll be sharing more items created with these products throughout the week.
But before the FB LIVE, I’m pretty sure I’ll need a nap to recover from getting up early for such an early doctor’s appointment. I hope I remember to ask for AFTERNOON appointment’s from now on! Have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, keep crafting, keep creating, and God Bless!
