We’re having a great time in Destin with our friends from Georgia, but as with all good things, the end is quickly coming. We’ve rested up, we’ve enjoyed the beautiful weather and location, and had some delicious food. But most of all, we have laughed and laughed with Mark and Kim. Laughter truly is the best medicine, and we will go home lighthearted with more wonderful memories shared with our Georgia framily – friends that are even closer than family!

Today’s cards are the last of the Accountability group’s sharing. These cards were created by Kim Dent at Stamping With Kim, and if you’ve yet to check out this paper, go and look again. The Bloom Boutique DSP is a 12×12 inch package that is loaded with floral selections with metallic accents. But the best part of all – it showcases the 5 new In Colors heading our way!!!! Other than the basic 6×6 packs we’ve never had a DSP that emphasizes the In Colors only.

This year’s In Colors are probably my absolute favorite, and they work together beautifully. This card shares dies cut from Peaceful Pine, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Hydrangea Hue.

From OnStage it was easy to see that Hydrangea Hue would be the favorite of the In Colors. Here Kim paired Hydrangea Hue and the Bloom Boutique DSP with the new scallop circle dies coming – these will also be a favorite!

This card begins with the Barely Blush card stock, paired with gold foil. To add abit more oomph to the floral dies Kim shaded the centers with a sponge dauber and the Barely Blush ink. For a sublte embellishment she also added one of the new tiny butterfly gems.

Here you can see more of the Butterfly gems used, as well as the scallop dies. I’ve turned to the Peaceful Pine card stock several times – it’s a great addition to our line of green hues!

For her final card Kim created this fun fold using Crisp Cantaloupe for the card base, then added mats with the Everyday Arches from Basic White and Barely Blush. She colored in the flowers with the coordinating blends, and yes, she worked in Golden Glow as well!!
I’ll be back tomorrow with the final post of the week, and by the time the email arrives in your inbox we will be well on our way home. Until tomorrow, find some time to create, to craft, and to play. God Bless!
