Yesterday was one of those days that I do not want to repeat! We ended up with an unplanned trip to Columbia to see the “fracture specialist” at the Orthopedic group – NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO! Luckily, he said that Pool Boy’s fractured patella would heal on it’s own with no surgery and no restrictions regarding our upcoming travels. THAT’S WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR!

Online Speed Bingo was last night and things were more than slightly wonky, BUT we made it through thankfully. Thank you to those participating and hanging in there!!! We decided to use the internet services at a local business next time (Thank you Chris!) which we hope will alleviate the issues. Fingers crossed!
So, that brings us down to our itinerary for the next several weeks! There will be NO CLASSES/EVENTS nor FB LIVES until after June 12. There WILL BE daily posts, depending on the internet while we cruise.
So what are our travels plans???? Here is our itinerary if you want to follow along:
- Monday, May 25 – we drive to Port Clinton, Ohio
- Tuesday, May 26-28 we fish on Lake Erie for Walleye (which translates into Pool Boy fishes and I will catch one fish)
- Friday, May 29 – drive back home and switch out suitcases and clothing for the cruise
- May 31 – we fly to Seattle Washington
- June 1 – we embark for the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Alaska
- June 2 – simply cruising the water!!!
- June 3 – we dock in Sitka, and we will be fishing for halibut and salmon (again, just Pool Boy!) I’m in charge of photos!
- June 4 – next port is Skagway and Stampin’ Up! is sending everyone on the White Horse train excursion
- June 5 – the day will be in Juneau and at this point we’ve not scheduled anything. We will see if that changes
- June 6 – simply cruising, but it may also be the day we go by Endicott Arms Glacier – not sure
- June 7 – Victoria in British Columbia for the afternoon
- June 8-10 – we disembark in Seattle, then will drive a couple of hours south to Mount Rainier National Park
- June 11 – we will be back in Seattle the evening of the 10th and plan to spend the 11th at Pike’s Fish Market, then I’m heading to the Chihuly Glass Museum and Pool Boy heads back to the hotel to kick back.
- June 12 – we fly home!
At this point I’m required to post that “these results are not typical. Less than 1% achieve the incentive trip”. We do not want to be red-flagged by compliance.
I’ll be doing a short daily post during our travels, as well as FB posts, but as always, we are at the mercy of the internet on the ship!
Say prayers that Pool Boy and I have safe travels, that Pool Boy catches fish (no need to pray for me there!), and that we find time to relax, recuperate, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Have a great weekend, find time to do what makes you happy, and God Bless!
