The Recent Kits Added To Our Kit Collection!

Good morning and Happy Belated Father’s Day! I hope you were able to enjoy some time either with your family celebrating or remembering the men who were important to our lives. Our son Evan fixed a wonderful meal using some of the ling cod from our Alaska fishing trip on Saturday night. I’m a recipe cook – I want a recipe and I’ll probably follow it exactly as written. I’m not a “try this, adjust, and add something more” kind of cook. Our son Evan and our son in law Adam are the taste/adjust kind though.. They don’t need a recipe and for the most part, they are usually spot on, which was the case on Saturday night. He seasoned his fish fillets and lightly browned them in butter and garlic, then created a cream creole sauce with crab meat, and finished cooking the fillets in the sauce.

I don’t care for Cajun seasoning, BUT the sauce was wonderful and the fish were delicious. He paired it with roasted mini potatoes and asparagus, and even the little boys ate it up! Problem with this type of cooking – for me! – is how to remember so you can recreate again?? That’s why I need my recipe! LOL!

Stampin’ Up! is kind of a mix of recipe/taste and adjust when it comes to their all inclusive kits.
