The Beautiful Violet Dreams Suite!

Good morning and Happy Monday! For being a quiet weekend we accomplished quite a bit! July Christmas card kits are prepped and packaged. Our in person class is tomorrow, and the mailed kits should be going out no later than Thursday of this week. Be watching for emails with the tutorial by Thursday as well.

The Halloween Pop Up Class is ahead of schedule!!! All of the product has arrived, and Pool Boy has been chunkin’ out the die cuts as well. Once I have the July Christmas card class wrapped up, I’ll move to this class and I’m hoping to have them in the mail around July 27 or 28.

AND finally, my next Pop Up class is almost ready for registration as well!!! This weekend I played with the Violet Dreams Suite and created multiple cards, a sampler, AND the focus for this week’s posts. Be watching for more info about this beautiful card/sampler class coming in the next couple of days!!!

I love fun folds, especially easel cards, which will be the focus of this week’s post. BUT all of them will be created using the beautiful Violet Dreams DSP and the Framed Violet Bundle. This DSP has a variety of laser cut pieces ready to create with, such as the Hydrangea Hue rectangle label for the above card. I’ve included both these printed pieces as well as the stamped images and the die cut flowers/leaves to get a wide variety of projects with varied looks.

Even though these cards are designed to stand up for display, they fold flat for mailing!!! This is stunning DSP, built around the color combination of Hydrangea Hue, Highland Heather, Peaceful Pine, Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, and Secret Sea. I used the basic rhinestone jewels to add just a touch of bling to the projects, and have included the Fresh Freesia satin ribbon on multiple other creations.

Final Thoughts….

Our next trip is a couple of weeks away, and I’ve been trying to pin down the activities. We are travelling to the Wisconsin Dells with Megan and the granddaughters for the week. Fiona and Nora have asked if I’d help them make scrapbooks with their Italy travels, so I’ve ordered products from the Beautiful Life product line and the photos are printed. They’ll love the bright geometric designs in the DSP for their pages. Megan’s purchased tickets for a boat ride and a walk called the Witch’s Gulch tour, and has reservations for a supper club one night. We’ll have to reign Nora in because she’s such a foodie who knows what she’ll want to order. We will go to the water parks, do some back to school shopping, and I’m trying to pin down tickets for a live sloth visit for Fiona. She has been a sloth nut since she was a toddler. And what is Pool Boy taking care of? Planning the snacks, and the driving. He will tell you he’s just along for the ride!

Please keep my friend Pam Cosby in your prayers tomorrow as she has her surgery to repair the hamstring issue from her accident AND it’s also her birthday! Surgery for her birthday is NOT a gift!
