Good morning!!!! Today’s bright and sunny – kind of the exact opposite of yesterday – and I’m packing up for the in person Violet Dreams Pop Up Class today. The packages for those participating by mail are scheduled for pick up later this morning, and tomorrow we move on to something new. For those registered for the pop up class – be sure to check your emails for the 4 tutorials I sent yesterday!
I heard good things about yesterday’s first day of school from the granddaughters. Nora’s word for describing the whole middle school thing was “AWESOME!” thankfully. If you’ve never experienced a middle schooler before or it’s been awhile, just know that it goes from one extreme to the other in the blink of an eye. Today can well be “I hate it and I don’t want to go back!” They bounce like a ping pong ball when it comes to emotions. Personally, I believe middle schoolers are warped, and those who like teaching middle schoolers are warped as well. Seeing that I really loved teaching middle school choir, that puts me in the warped category as well, so it’s all good!
Someday I’ll have to explain why I consider Kindergarten twerps.

I enjoy taking a week and just working with one suite or bundle, trying to use all of the stamps, dies, and materials that come in the suite. The Neutral Noel Suite has one of my favorite new products – the Softly Woven embossing folder!!! If nothing else in this suite appeals to you, do not skip this folder! I love the subtle, all over appearance that it gives, and you can use this for everything!
I chose the color combo of Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake. Not a traditional Christmas color combination, but I wanted to keep it simple and clean with no DSP used. You can almost feel the quietness of the scene with just the snow blanketing the sounds around.
Final Thoughts….

I’ll leave you with this picture my daughter in law Rachel sent of the grandsons enjoying the weekend. Just a couple of boys playing in the water and mud on the Long Branch Lake shore. You can’t easily read the black t-shirts but they say “I’m the Chaos”. So very fitting with these two!!!
Makes me think back to over 35 years ago when their daddy was this age getting in the mud at the shore’s edge while the adults were fishing. What goes around comes around, right?
Have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!!!!
