TWO Upcoming Events For Halloween!!!

I know that Halloween isn’t until the end of October, but schedules are quickly filling up, mail delivery is slow, and with ordering involved we need to plan classes early. I’m thankful to say Wally World had it’s Halloween candies and products out over the weekend, so at least I’m not as early as they are!!!

The Halloween Pop Class had an awesome number registered, and the mailed kits went out a couple of weeks ago. Those meeting in person are scheduled this afternoon, and the rest are ready for pick up at my house.

So, what Halloween classes do we have remaining?????

Look At These Fun Easel Cards For Your Halloween Treats!!!

I had SO MUCH FUN designing this class that will be available both IN PERSON as well as BY MAIL. These are the same easel designs I used for a bonus tutorial with the Framed Violets Pop Up Class. This class will consist of 5 EASEL CARDS using the Frightfully Fun DSP by Stampin’ Up! Each participant will make 1 of each of the 5 cards above, and the kit is mailed free with a minimum order from Stampin’ Up!.

• IN PERSON CLASS will meet THURSDAY, September 17 at Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall beginning at 1:30.
• The MAILED KIT will be scheduled for pickup on Saturday, Sept. 19. Orders need to be placed in my online store no later than September 14 so I have time to prep cards.

The Witchy, Whimsy Kit Night For Witch’s Night Out!!!

I’ve several special kit nights scheduled from now through Christmas, and the first one is this fun, festive Witch’s Hat Class!!!

• Our Witch’s Night Out event has TWO TIMES AVAILABLE: Thursday, Sept. 24 at 1pm OR 6:30pm!
• Both classes will be held in person at the Whistle Stop in Bevier, MO!
• Cost is $35 for the event, which includes everything you need to make this fun Halloween hat – EXCEPT for scissors and hot glue gun. There will be several available at the event, or you can bring your own!
• REGISTRATION ENDS ON September 16 for kits to be express shipped.

This would be a FUN NIGHT to gather with friends for some crafting, some chatting, and if you throw in dinner at Ugos or Subway in Bevier, you can add the chewing part as well!!!!

Final Thoughts….

Plans were in place for Ben to have his first sleepover on Friday night, but a long visit to the ER that day put a kink in the plans! Luckily a hospital room was avoided with IV meds, but after that day the last thing we needed was this sweet little boy coming for a sleepover. We simply moved it back to Sunday night, and Ben had an awesome night. We had tears for less than a minute when his Daddy left, he went to bed like a champ, and other than one short issue during the night he slept to his normal waking up time of 5:30am.

The look on his face was quite comical though, cause though he was somewhat awake, the look on his face was “where the heck am I???” He crawled up in Papa Pool Boy’s chair after breakfast so he could watch Bluey, and when I looked over both Ben and Papa were sound asleep.

That little boy is quite the thumb sucker – left thumb only – and they may have to resort to what Pool Boy’s parents did to stop the thumb sucking. He wanted a pony – at that time they lived in the country – so the deal was no thumb once the pony arrives. The tale is he sucked that thumb until the pony came off the trailer, and that was the end of it.

Pretty sure Rachel would be all about a pony, but I know Evan would not! They will have to think of something creative to entice Ben like his Papa was!
