We had one of those weekends where it was best to simply hunker down and stay home. Pool Boy was fine, but not so much for me! It is a rarity for me to cancel out of organist duties for church, but I knew early Sunday morning I was not going to be able to attend, and although today is better, we are NOT going to the Chiefs’ home opener against the Broncos tonight. I will be watching from my recliner instead. My nephew Jason is “representing the family” and it’s nice to be able to transfer tickets with a click of the phone. Just one more good reason to appreciate technology!
I enjoy the whole Santa thing at Christmas when it comes to decorating. And I love a good Santa card as well. I will be truthful here – the last few years our Santa stamps have not appealed to me at all. BUT I loved this simple hat image – and the two litttle greetings that come with it.
Santa’s Hat can be found in the Online Exclusives, and will be one of my Christmas cards for this month’s class. I paired it with a DSP mat from A Little Christmas DSP, and the color combo of Real Red and Peaceful Pine.
And how about the square die???? This is from the Tile Garden die set – DEFINITELY a keeper! Remember, it’s always a good thing to go with basic shapes, and these match the Spotlight In Nature circle dies!!!!
The September Christmas Card Class is coming up on Tuesday, Sept. 22 and there’s always room for more!!! This class is available both IN PERSON as well as BY MAIL, and registration ends on Sept. 20. ONLINE ORDERS need to be placed no later than that date as well so I have time to prep.
