By the time this post lands in your mailbox, we will be on our last travel leg of our journey. We saw beautiful scenery, had multiple days to relax, and spent quality time with dear friends I’ve made through Stampin’ Up, but as Dorothy said – “There’s no place like home.”

After a career of teaching, finally reaching those years of retirement, some people would wonder why I do what I do – filling my days and some evenings with my Stampin’ Up business. The pictures on this post says it all – It is the PEOPLE! It is the connections of new friends, reconnecting with past friends, building closer relationships with the people that have come into my life because of Stampin’ Up. Stampin’ Up is SO MUCH bigger than simply a papercrafting company. It’s the connections and the community of gathering with others who enjoy being together. I spent two full days with these ladies, we said our goodbyes, and yet we’ve been texting and messaging throughout the day to check on travels homeward. So blessed to have Bonnie, Lori, Pam, Joey, and Karin in my life, and there are SO MANY more that are not pictured.

This sweet gal reached out to me a couple of years ago by messenger when my dear friend Jen needed a heart transplant. Martina Auer lives in Austria, but she wanted Jen’s address to send her a beautiful card. We met in person a year ago in New Orleans, and connected again on our Norway trip where I met her family. We said goodbye last night, but we know we will see each other next year in Mexico. I would never have met her without Stampin’ Up.

This group of ladies is part of the Creating Success With Ronda Wade program. These ladies come from all over the states, Canada, England, Austria, Germany, and Australia. Talk about a support system of gals connected by FB, online zooms, weekly trainings, and other programs. And all there to cheer each other on and build those connections of friendship.

And Johnna Chris, Pam and I are part of a team here in our community! We support each other with project ideas, loaning products as needed, and simply gathering with other close team members to build those connections. Check out the date, because we are going to have a FREE SPEED BINGO NIGHT with Johnna calling, the rest of us will be sharing some quick projects with the Fall products in the new mini, and yes – there will be prizes!!!!!

So now, you know why I do this whole Stampin’ Up thing!!!!! Yes, I love paper crafting, and yes, I LOVE the Stampin’ Up products offered, but it’s the people that mean the most to me. My demo friends far and near AS WELL as my local and out of town stampin’ friends. My world is a much better place because of each and everyone of YOU!!!!!
Creating Community Through Crafting From The Heart!!!
That says it all.
