It was a busy weekend getting things ready for this week’s class, taking care of the boys Friday night while their parents enjoyed a dinner out for their anniversary, AND a full day devoted to Chiefs’ football. I really don’t enjoy evening games since it’s in the wee hours when we make it home, but just one of those things you deal with since it only happens a couple of times during football season.
Problem is today starts early with PT, so I’m running on just a few hours of sleep! BUT after a busy day Saturday chopping cardstock the card class is already packaged and ready to go for Tuesday’s Christmas card class! That just leaves Online Speed Bingo on Thursday night, then the daily posts and two FB Lives – we got this. Then time to pack our suitcases for Maine.

By the 5th month of Christmas card classes, you start looking at what’s left in the DSP packages for cards WITHOUT having to order more packages. I love these sweet village scenes found in the Northpole Delivery DSP. With a careful figuring and cutting the patterns, I was able to squeeze out just enough of these village scenes to cover the cards needed for class.
It’s certainly not a traditional color combo for Christmas, but I like Pool Party and Real Red together, so pairing the village scenes with the dotted Pool Party pattern creates a fun, contemporary Christmas card to share with friends.
The tiny greetings in the Jolly Delivery stamp set make it easy to add a greeting without covering too much of the village buildings, don’t they??? And I used the white fluffy trim as well as the Dear Dots that are part of the Northpole Delivery Suite to embellish and finish off the card.
MYSTERY BOXES ARE COMING SOON!!!!

As part of my Customer Appreciation month long celebration, I’ll be rolling out the MYSTERY BOX promotion on Wednesday. As new products come into my craft room, retired products have to be removed, and need to be sent to a new home. I love to package up mystery boxes to ship out, and I STUFF my boxes tight. Retired bundles (SOME JUST RECENT!), stamp sets, embossing folders, gems and ribbons, ephemera packs, DSP, punches, dies, – if it’s retired it’s fair game to be added to these boxes!!! Now’s the time to put your list together and be ready to claim one of these boxes loaded with goodies!!!!
Final Thoughts…..
If you disregard today’s Christmas card, the rest of the week is going to be focused on “Anything But A Card!” I enjoy using our papercrafting supplies creating decor items as well as gift ideas, so join me as I share some things that help to use our paper scraps for holiday decor. Chris Howe will be with us on Wednesday night’s group FB LIVE to share another fun use for her supplies with pottery clay! You are going to want to see it! Not a member of our group??? Click on the link below and request to join. There is ALWAYS room for more!!!
