Woo hoo to Friday!!! We’ve a super quiet weekend with absolutely nothing scheduled and I for one am looking forward to getting caught up on some designing for upcoming classes. Yesterday the Techniques Class #1 met , and I am so thankful that our team member Johnna Bixenman Clarke shared a quick technique using saran wrap and ink pads!!! If you’ve not given this a try you need to!!!

Each month we gather and try two different techniques and also a fun fold. Some techniques are harder than others, but this one is perfect for everyone to try!!! When all you need is some cling wrap (NOT Press and Seal though!) and a couple of ink pads, it’s a quick idea and the best part – simply throw the cling wrap away!
The card above used Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue inks to create the subtle background, then I used Night of Navy for the butterflies. When everything was stamped we ran it through the Cut and Emboss machine using the Butterfly embossing folder for added depth and texture. A simple greeting came from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set to finish this card off! And NOT A SINGLE DIMENSIONAL was used! That’s surprising for me! Thanks again to Johnna for sharing this quick but striking technique!
I will be sharing this technique during my Monday’s FB live, so be sure to check in about 4:30 pm central time. You can find my business page at the link below, and while you are there please like and follow me! This way you receive notifications of future FB lives, stamping classes and events, as well as current promotions from Stampin’ Up! Thank you in advance for supporting my very small business!

Final Thoughts….
I will be switching to Patriotic mode starting today. First up, a patriotic banner for our Stamp ‘n Sip’s project. Pool Boy will be busy running dies for this, and next up are the cards for the Patriotic Card Class. There are still spots available for anyone wishing to join us! Be sure to sign up before JUNE 11!
The Pop Up Class with the One Sheet Wonder cards are ready to start packaging as well. I was hoping to have those ready to pick up/mail out by Saturday but with everything going on Thursday I’m afraid it will be Monday instead.
Do you like the Butterfly stamp set above??? Our NEXT POP UP CLASS will be centered around this!!!! Be watching for more info, because these classes have a maximum limit and they sell out quickly! I have a few of the stampsets available FREE, but luckily it is also available online – you just have to order it! You don’t want to miss being one of the first to score the free set!
Until Monday, have a wonderful day creating, crafting, resting, and doing whatever makes you happy!
God Bless!
