Today is a short post since Pool Boy and I are headed to a doctor’s appointment out of town. We wrapped up our Online Speed Bingo/card class last night, and all of the cards were using the stamp set Reason To Celebrate. We’ve centered our past card class around tools, specific DSPs, and fun folds, but I think last night was the best! Reason To Celebrate is a great stamp set with multiple holiday and basic greetings that can be used so many ways! Those participating will all receive the materials to make the 5 cards as well as the stamp set AND had the chance to win gift certificates.
Chris shared her card and it’s all about green for St. Patrick’s Day – she even dressed in the color! Three of our cards are basic z-folds (not at all planned and each had unique measurements so they are all different!) Her rainbow dies came from the Sunshine Vibes, the DSP from Nature Walk, and the sequins from the turtle suite.
Pam shared this card that will be perfect for Valentine’s Day – it’s easy, it quick, and you can churn out multiples!!! The DSP is from the popular Made With Love DSP – it’s been in stock, out, in, and currently is on back order. Another z-fold, but different measurements.
Tena chose to create a birthday card using Reason To Create as well as Branching Out, using the dutch door fun fold. Isn’t this a beautiful card for a feminine birthday? Her color combo is Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo – I’m not sure I’ve ever used those colors together, but I like it for sure!!! The layout could just as easily be turned into a masculine or even children’s card by simply substituting other stamped images.
Johnna came and was our bingo queen calling the numbers for the rounds, as she has done since we first began our game nights. I am so very appreciative of these gals helping, designing, and sharing their talents with you. All four of them have shared their talents on FB lives, post creations on our FB group page, and use their talents to bless others, while holding down full time jobs such as a travel director, an owner of a personal business, babysitting regularly for grandbabies and helping out at a family restaurant, supporting family with health issues, and just being the best posse of gals you could ask for help from. Thank you to each of you, and hugs and love from me!!
