Well, the pivot thing continues through today since Nana and Papa have been called in for help. Luckily our little Ben isn’t sick but the nursery room at daycare is closed while the teacher is home with her little one. So here sits Ben playing while I type!

That shark toy took up residence at our house over 35 years ago when his daddy was about the same age. We were enrolled in Water Babies swim class and the ONLY thing to keep Evan happy during swim time was Mr. Shark. He loved Mr. Shark and at our last session the instructors sent Mr. Shark home with us. It was a treat to bring Mr. Shark out for the boys, knowing how much Evan loved him.
Just wait til the Ghostbusters action figures and firehouse comes out! And the Ghostbusters pjs!

Stampin’ Up introduced the Artistic Leaves stamp set with the last Online Exclusives promotion, and It’s a great stamp for sympathy and maIsculine cards. With the DisINKtive shading built into the stamps you get added depth and texture in your paper crafting projects.

An easy way to step up a plain mat is to simply stamp an image in the same color! It’s subtle and easy to do, but gives a polished finish to the card, don’t you think??? And the color combo of Secret Sea and Cloud Cover may well replace my Pretty Peacock/Lost Lagoon favorite!
Stampin’ Up was not satisfied with the ink pad for the In Color Cloud Cover so they removed it from the product line. Customers can not purchase the ink pad BUT demos can until sold out. If you would like one of the ink pads simply reach out to your demonstrator or me to order one for you – they are still available!
Life has a way of reconnecting us with others, even years later. The Water Babies instructors – Dawn and Rich – were a young couple in our community engaged to be married. After marriage, they were teachers in our community and raised their family here. Years later, Rich gave Evan direction and guidance while he was struggling with a career path, and Dawn attends stamping events with us. And the connection comes back to Mr. Shark!
I’ll be back tomorrow to share TWO promotions Stampin’ Up is rolling out on August 5. Hard to believe August is just around the corner. Til then, keep stamping, keep crafting and God Bless!! And please forgive me with any typos – Ben has been helping me type!
