Creating A Tri-Fold Card With The Everyday Arches!

It’s kind of a dreary day here in our neck of the woods so today’s work is perfect – cutting cardstock for this week’s pop up class. Pool Boy is running the dies as well. Pam and I talked to so many demonstrators while in Florida about how their husbands support their businesses. Some spouses run the dies like Pool Boy, others edit videos and run the social media posts. Several did the packaging, then post office run with classes to ship, and I know one guy whose job is to make the coffee and fix a dessert for the ladies attending in person.

Many demos sign their husbands up as a “supporting demo” and they attend all of the meetings and gatherings with their wives. Pool Boy has informed me do NOT do that! Pretty sure he’d quit, so we aren’t going to rock the stamping boat here! Even the thought of having a lanyard with the name “Pool Boy” will not entice him. One guy’s lanyard always reads “Stud Muffin” – in fact, I’m not even sure what his name is! Stampin’ Up recognizes the importance of spouses when it comes to running a craft business so they always show their appreciation to them too. Pool Boy says it’s more like hooking them and reeling them in like a fish but in a good way!!!!

The card above used 12 of them!!!! You wouldn’t need that many but I do love my layers, AND I went ahead and finished the back as well.

Final Thoughts….

Pool Boy has already begun getting ready for this fishing trip. He’s pulling clothes, raingear, and gathering snack supplies. I’m going to drag my feet as always – I JUST got my suitcase put away this weekend, and here I have to drag it out again. But he is excited about the trip ahead and it’s so nice to see him feeling better and anticipating the days ahead. I hope he’s also anticipating the removal of the fish from my hook because I am not touch it! I will reel a couple in, otherwise I will be the official clicker counting the day’s catch.
