Woo hoo it’s Friday!!! We are rolling into the weekend ahead with no plans other than going out for dinner with friends one night. Use to be I thought a quiet weekend at home was boring, but the older I get the more I appreciate having no plans and just getting some time to catch up on what I want to do.
I need to clear some flower beds and get ready for planting some flowers but it’s still too cool to even think about going to the greenhouse for a flower fix. So instead, I will just use these days playing with the new floral products heading our way from Stampin’ Up – DSP, stamp sets, and dies!
My FIRST Purchase From The New Products Coming!

Last night on our group page Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam and Lola, I created the framed art piece above using the upcoming new In Colors heading our way, along with the dies from Impressions Abloom. I’m all about taking advantage of savings by purchasing bundles with Stampin’ Up, but I’m sure some will think they have enough floral products. But take a good look at the Impressions Abloom dies though, even if you are not interested in another floral stamp set, because they truly can stand alone – no stamp set is needed!!!
So many times you HAVE to have the coordinating stamp set to use the dies because they cut out the shape. We were looking at the Storybook Friends dies last night, and we decided the radish die resembled different things – a gobblin, a penquin, the Pillsbury doughboy – without the stamp you wouldn’t have a clue! But these dies work in pairs creating detailed layers of flowers that can be used over and over!

Look at the detail included in the dies above. And no stamp was needed from the coordinating set. (Disregard the greeting because that is from a different stamp set!) I’m loving the new in colors heading our way and it’s fun to play and create with them, not only as a color combination as a group, but also to see have well they “play” with our color collections.

Final Thoughts…..
I’m working on the Paper/Ribbon Share info and was hoping to have it go live this coming Monday, but due to Pool Boy’s medical procedure on Monday that’s not going to happen. Hoping by mid week so please keep watching! I hope you have a beautiful weekend doing whatever you enjoy. Whether packed with activities or spending a quiet couple of days at home doing whatever you love, make it a wonderful weekend. Keep stamping, keep crafting, and as always, God Bless!
