Oodles Of Gathering Together DSP Packages!

Good morning everyone!!! This week I’ve been in designing mode with multiple projects, and most every one centers around the Gathering Together DSP. This package of patterned paper is stunning, and it’s a joy to design with. I love the colors used, and the varied leaf patterns are very different, giving your projects varied looks even though they are the same thing!

My favorite pattern is the one with the Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Basic Beige, and Basic White color combo. We are doing a fall sampler for our senior church members in the next couple of weeks, and this is the pattern I chose to use. I need 28 samplers that measure 12 x 12 inches, so that meant I needed 14 packages of the Gathering Together DSP! Sometimes it’s difficult to get rid of THREE FuLL DSP PACKAGES, let alone 14! (And if you know me, you know that I have at least 16 cause what if I cut a sheet incorrectly, or we miscounted at church??? OCD me has to have some reserved for backup!)

I divided out my 16 packages by DSP pattern, and counted out 28 of the three patterns above then set it aside. Twenty-eight church samplers covered!

The next pattern choice is the one with Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso leaves. This 12 x 12 sampler will be for the October night of Stamp ‘n Sip, but this time I used 4 different DSP patterns. I have to use the paper up! I only needed 8 of this sampler, BUT two of the DSP patterns are the same paper, back to back. And the plaid one (reverse side) is also used on the church sampler, so I needed to do some shifting patterns to have enough for both projects. Luckily there are 3 different patterns that are Basic Beige, so I can substitue if need be.

Next up was the In Person Bingo make and take for next week. Since our participants are each receiving a full package of the Gathering Together DSP in their goody bag, we will use the same paper for our make and takes as well as our displays. This pattern I had yet to use, so I knew I had plenty to design with. Make and takes need to be easy, quick, and little prep, so this card will be perfect, using the Basic Beige and Crushed Curry combo.

Back in September I had already pulled multiple sheets of the third leaf pattern for our Autumn banner at Stamp ‘n Sip. The color combo here is Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, and Basic Beige. Remember, three leaf patterns, yet all are totally different.

Before I could go any farther using the Gathering Together DSP, I had to divide and count to be sure I had enough of each pattern needed for church sampler, Stamp ‘n Sip sampler, the Autumn banner, and the the make and take.

Luckily, I have enough of the paper used in the banner to be able to offer a limited fall sampler class in October. I’m working hard to get these 16 packages of the Gathering Together DSP used up!!! I’ve also a FALL CARD CLASS coming in October as well, so surely after this I can have most of it gone.

Did you catch the part that everyone participating in the Bingo night for next week is getting a full package of this DSP too???? Yes, 22 more packages of the Gathering Together DSP are arriving TODAY!!! It’s a good thing this DSP is beautiful!!!!
