Our Final Two Cards From Speed Bingo!

Hey friends!!! If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I like to take part in swaps with other stampers to collect ideas for future reference. I’m already signed up for an organized swap in March when we head to OnStage in California. As a part of an accountability group we also share ideas too, so sometimes those swap ideas act as a spring board to another project, sometimes it’s just hard to improve on perfection!

If you are late to this week’s posts, we used the Reason To Celebrate stamp set that are included in our swag for Speed Bingo. Today’s cards are the two I shared last night with the group.

I chose to create an Easter card, using the Easter stamps included in the stamp set. A month ago, Kim Dent from Stamping With Kim Dent sent a card very similar to the one above. I switched it up, adding Pretty In Pink mats as well as the adorable Easter basket and eggs included in the DSP. And now, looking at the picture above, I think the green egg that I randomly adhered to the DSP resembles a CACTUS with a flower blooming!!! Even the white speckles look like cactus spines!!! Do you see it too????

And this card above is PERFECT for a graduation!!!!! I received this card from Kathy Alt with Kathy’s Stamping World, and other than switching the stamps and using the Metallic Texture Rub-On’s from the the Annual Catalog (page 124) it’s the same!!! Have you checked out the metallic textures yet? If you hesitate from using embossing powder, these are the BOMB!!! You need a package to try!!!!

Last night Chris shared how the Seasonal Celebrations is a perfect match for the Reason To Celebrate – I hadn’t thought about that, but look at the images. Graduation, Easter, birthday, St. Pat’s, Valentine, then the floral for everything else included in the greetings stamp set!!! This would be a great stamp to add to your craft supplies – they compliment each other super well!
