It’s hard to believe that September is simply a couple of days away and that we are closer to New Year’s Eve then we are New Year’s Day if counting the days. We’ve a busy weekend ahead beginning with an early dinner tonight with friends visiting from Alabama, the trip to St. Louis tomorrow for the Accountability Group and staying over with Megan’s family, then heading home to meet my sister and brother in law staying overnight in town.
Listed below are the events for September as well as Stampin’ Up’s catalog and new Online Exclusives launch. I believe this is one of their best catalogs and it is loaded with great products that will fill our crafting time – from Halloween right up to New Year’s! - Stamp ‘n Sip on Tuesday, Sept. 9 in Bevier – early dinner at Ugos at 4:30, then to the Whistle Stop to work on our Autumn Banners!
- Technique #2 on Wednesday, Sept. 10 in our home at 12:15pm
- Technique #1 on Thursday, Sept. 11 in our home at 12 noon – PLEASE NOTE THE DAY CHANGE THIS MONTH!
- Christmas Card Class on Tuesday, Sept. 16 – both in person AND by mail beginning at 1:30pm
- IN PERSON BINGO on Monday, Sept. 29 at 6pm – Zion Lutheran Church in Macon, MO – more info to follow next week!
I’m hoping to have a small card class during the week of Sept. 21 for grandkids and young at heart, but date and location is not set as of yet.
The first week of October we will focus on an IN PERSON and BY MAIL Halloween Class so be watching soon for details!
And finally, our ONLINE SPEED BINGO is set for Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7 pm central and will be FIVE FALL FUN FOLDS

Final Thoughts….
The list above is going to keep us busy, and it starts this weekend. But this is my choice – I would rather stay busy with things to do, people to see and places to go instead of nothing much to do. I love a busy calendar filled with things to plan for and look forward to. It’s what keeps me going.
Pool Boy not so much. He prefers to just go with the flow and do things abit more spontaneously. (Although with his cardio rehab and doctor’s appointments he’s got a calendar as well!) We are very opposite in that way! But we are a good mix as well – I keep him going and doing, and he reminds me to slow down and relax.
For now, it’s time to end August on a busy note (you should see my to-do list today!) and I will be back on September 1 full of ideas from our Accountability group! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
