Pool Boy and I arrived home yesterday, driving straight through from our friends in Cherry Log, Georgia to our home in Macon. We were on the road for less than 12 hours, and it’s nice to be back in our little comfort zone! Now it’s the unpacking, the laundry, the putting away part of the trip, along with catching up on stuff that got pushed back until we arrived home. We’ve a visitation tonight, a funeral tomorrow, as well as Megan and the girls coming home for a quick over night stay, so we have hit the ground running for sure.

One of the OnStage highlights was the opportunity to craft with our friends during the evening After Hours event. Try to imagine a stamping event with your closest 1,000+ friends! This picture doesn’t do justice to the huge room where the After Hours event was held. Each table was set up with ink pads, dimensionals, paper products, adhesives, etc. so you stayed in your area crafting. We had a list of items to bring from our craft supplies at home, so it was relaxing and laid back.

We had the opportunity to select our bundle choice for the evening event and was given a brochure with several examples of cards and scrapbook layouts to create. I really liked this scrapbook layout with the color combos, but I chose to re-invent as a card instead. People, IT IS POSSIBLE to revamp layout ideas!!! Yes, I prefer to make cards since I have never scrapbooked, but I can gather ideas from studying the scrapbooking line as well. Please don’t limit yourself to “just a card maker”- inspiration is there if you have an open mind! And, I’m leaning more to scrapbooking!! Actually have signed up for a scrapbooking class – can you believe it????

‘Bout did me in using the normal card mat sizes of 4 by 5.25!!! I enjoy a narrow margin of 4 1/8 by 5 3/8, but I was trying to stretch the card stock as far as possible – we have just a few pieces of the new In Color card stocks available until the catalog goes live!
I LOVE the new In Color gems heading our way, and most all of the colors!!! One thing to note – the Cloud Cover ink pads are NOT available for demos now, and probably won’t be when the new catalog goes live the first week of May. We DID have the ink pad on our tables during the evening event, but it is not stamping true to color. Due to quality issues, they have pulled the ink pads until further testing deems it acceptable.
Final Thoughts….
I’m going to do a short FB LIVE later this afternoon showing and comparing our new colors with our core colors. This FB LIVE will be on our group page – Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam And Lola. If you would like to view, simply click on the link below and request to join – there is ALWAYS room for more of our crafting friends to gather!!!
