For being the laid back day here in Branson, we were busy! Between swimming, going to the movies to see the Lilo and Stitch live action movie followed by shopping, it was a full day. I can still say I do not like shopping in person. I much prefer onine shopping and was so thankful that Megan took a couple of hours off from work to go with us! We started at Carter’s so the girls could both pick a new outfit for the little guys, then we moved into shopping for them. I thought Nora was pretty vocal about what she did and didn’t like in fashion, but Fiona topped her big time. My goodness she has strong feelings about clothing and shoes, and she’s highly vocal expressing them!
But four pairs of shoes and multiple items of clothing later, we were able to say it was a successful shopping day and Nana can go back to shopping online like she much prefers!!!
Did You Know Stampin’ Participates In Some States’ Tax Free Weekend??????

Only 13 states participate in Tax Free Weekends for school supplies and clothes, and with each state having different requirements it’s necessary to have a chart listing the Stampin’ Up products that include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.” Each state also has designated days as well as maximum totals for items, so be sure to check the pdf carefully for your state’s requirements and dates!

Tax free weekend is the time I load up on adhesives – the Stampin’ Seal refills, dimensionals, as well as glue dots and Tombow. If you are missing blends in select colors, this is a perfect time to select them as well. Taking advantage of savings, such as the FREE SHIPPING DAYS currently going on is a great way to stretch our crafting budget!!!
Tomorrow will be a long and hot day visiting Silver Dollar City, then we head home on Friday. And unless something pops up we are home for a few weeks which is a good thing! Time to recharge and regroup. Here’s hoping you have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, and until next time, God Bless!
