I believe it was during the spring of Covid that the action of “pivoting” in our daily life became more common, but teachers will tell you we are expert pivoters! How can you not be, when something unexpected pops up to change the plans for your students??? You run into the office before school to run off the test for your third hour class only to discover the copier is out of commission and the repairman may not make it there until tomorrow???? This is dating me, but you plan a lesson using the overhead projector only to have it not work. You call for the librarian to bring a bulb replacement only to hear that the bulb size is not available and she will need to order one. Every day we had to pivot to keep our students engaged and on task.
So last night at our ONLINE SPEED BINGO/FLIP FLAP CLASS we had to pivot! Oh, we were ready!!! EVERYTHING was lined up, ready to go. We were on it, and were patting ourselves on the back for being organized, only to start the FB LIVE and discover we had AUDITORY ISSUES!!! Really?????? What a let down. We tried several things to fix the issue with no luck, so pivot we did!

Our ONLINE SPEED BINGO/FLIP FLAP CLASS is rescheduled for MONDAY, AUGUST 4 at 7 pm central. Everyone participating was able to pivot with us to the new date, AND we think we have diagnosed the trouble with last night! I’ll know for sure Wednesday when I pop on to do a FB LIVE.
So we are going to pivot today from a post with a new project using all other crafy stuff cause I’ve nothing ready to post.

Here’s recent photos of our little guys enjoying the sunflower fields by the Dept. Of Conservation. They are growing too quickly!!! Cal is 2 and 1/2 years and Ben has reached the 9 month mark. Love these faces dearly!!!
And after last night’s auditory issue with FB I also pivoted to a Peach Bellini. We roll with flow!!!
I'[ll be back tomorrow with a new project, but til then, pivot and roll with your daily life, and God Bless!!!
