Last night our Stamp ‘n Sip group met for the gingerbread frame I shared last week. Last week we postponed due to weather, then with us feeling under the weather my friends Pam Cosby and Tena Levett took charge of the night for me to avoid having to reschedule again.
Pam and her husband Bill own this little building in Bevier that they use for family events and some community events as well. This group has been using The Whistle Stop monthly for our meetings this year, and it is perfect for us! Only problem – if I have an event during the day, someone always comes in asking if we are serving lunch!! LOL!!!

Kait Colombatto made gingerbread cookies for us, and brought supplies for everyone to decorate cookies to take home. She is like another daughter to us, and she considers us adoptive parents since hers live far away in Wyoming.

This little guy comes with his grandma and he is the BEST!!! He loves to craft, he’s such a good kid, and he’s making me think a “Nana and Me” craft time would be a great thing!!

And here’s Tara being her creative self! Just look at those cookies. You can’t be around Tara without smiling – she’s perpetual sunshine.

Isn’t this a great photo? Pam and Bill have these beautiful backdrops up for family photos, and it was a perfect photo to end the night. Only one thing missing – me! Wish I could have been there, and we WILL have another of these nights so I can. Thank you Pam and Tena for helping, and thank you Kait for the cookies!
Final Thoughts….
We moved this group from our home to The Whistle Stop location due to mobility issues since our house steps were a bit too much for one of our gals who was going to have to stop coming. I know Pool Boy misses visiting with the gals – believe me, he was right in the thick of them! – but we do what we can to stay together. We have laughed together, cried together, celebrated together, and I’m so very thankful for each one. Stampin’ Up isn’t simply about crafting. It’s the gathering together with friends, the connection of community, and the chance to create all wrapped up together.
Until next time, have a great day creating, crafting, and God Bless.
