What a busy week it’s been but the end is in sight. Last night was our MomCo Christmas Tag Night, and prepping/preparing ahead was key to the night’s success.
Each participating mom received the following product at their work area:
- precut card stock and mats for 24 tags
- a ziplock bag of embossed die cuts created from the Christmas Word Collage Hybrid folder
- 1/2 package of the North Pole Delivery DSP along with the precut designs included in package
- a full role of the red/white baker’s twine
- 1/2 package of the basic rhinestone gems
- dimensionals, glue, etc. to create with

MomCo participants brought foods as well, so the night was a Craft/Chat/Chew event – the best kind! They enjoyed the opportunity to create and craft, but more importantly they were able to connect and chat with young moms in the area, building a connection and a community of support.
I was blessed to be a mentor mom last year with our local chapter, and interest has grown, allowing not only a day group but also an evening group for working moms. The MomCo organization is found all over the world in over 100 countries. Originally begun as MOPS (Moms Of Preschoolers) it now connects moms of all ages, providing support and encouragement while elevating the joy of motherhood. Do you have a local chapter in your area providing this support?
Final Thoughts….
Today’s work centers around packaging the Mystery Boxes as well as prepping my swaps for Back Stage. In the years since Back Stage first began, we have survived a hurricane threat and COVID, so it only seems fitting that we have an issue with travels this time. Many are scrambling to update flights that are being cancelled due to the government shutdown. Hopefully with our direct flight to Vegas it will all work out, but best to go into the travel day with eyes open, right?
If something happens with our travel arrangements and we are unable to attend, I’m going to need 40 people to mail these swaps to though!!!! Until next time, have a great day creating, crafting, and God Bless!
And go elevate and encourage some young moms in your area!!!! We moms need all the help and support we can get – no matter the age!
