Man, you totally forget how much energy a little one has, and when you are one-on-one, you are worn out at the end of the day! Cal had a great day visiting yesterday, and we played, we read, we crafted a bit, we chased, we baked cookies, and Nana and Papa were tuckered out!
Pool Boy was in and out yesterday running errands and taking animals for a vet visit, but between us we kept Cal busy. We did watch a couple of Mickey Mouse shows to give US a break. Hey grandparents – buy a Connect 4 game, because you can get LOTS of play time with it! lol!

With his help, I was able to run banners, letters, and hearts for the Valentine Banner. THAT’S ALL that was accomplished, but it filled some time and kept him busy cutting and turning the die cut machine handle!

He helped me cut the card stock for the banners and letters. Best be fast though lining up the paper cause his little hand was quick to push the cutting blade, and yes, sometimes we were crooked! He understood the whole “put the paper under the plastic flap” but as for lining up – that concept was not happening!

And when you are done with cutting card stock, you can turn to the scraps to wear on your head! What a boy!
Not much crafting to post from yesterday, and since today is the Winter Card Class, and dinner with Cal and his family to celebrate his actual birthday, there may not be much crafting today either! But that’s ok – time with the grandkids is much more important!
Here’s hoping you have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, I hope you get to craft and create, and God Bless!!!
