The busy weekend is over, and we have a couple of days before the family arrives for Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to these two days to get a few things accomplished, catch our breath, and recharge before the crew arrives. Nora and Fiona enjoy helping in the kitchen so we will put them to work as our sous chefs. Cal is also coming to spend the day with the girls so we will put him to work as well. Things like tearing and crumbling the stuffing mixture, helping with the desserts, etc. Things may not look perfect but it’s the being together that’s most important.
We’ve also the final Christmas tree to decorate as well as bringing out the remaining Christmas decorations, so it will no doubt be chaotic but it give the three time together, and when Ben arrives with his mom and dad they can chase him as well. I can get things done adding a not-quite 3 year old to the mix, but a one year old also??? He’ll have a chance in a couple of years to take part in the Thanksgiving preparations!!!

I will be demonstrating this fun fold on my FB LIVE today from a class earlier in the month. I thought the Traditions Of Christmas DSP was beautiful from the get go, and I love the color combo of Real Red and Secret Sea.

Here is the front view of the card opened. Main thing about a card like this is to be sure any repeating pattern such as the diagonal lines are all running the same!!! Made for tricky preparation!

And here’s the top view looking down on the standing card. Most times I ony need to look at the card front to see how it’s created, but this time I needed all of the views for sure!!!! I will be posting the PDF of measurements tomorrow after today’s FB LIVE, so be sure to come back and print a copy of the directions with measurements.
And check me out on my FB page for today’s live at the link below. While you are there, please like and follow me so you receive notifications of future FB lives, posts, classes and events, as well as future notifications of Stampin’ Up promotions. https://www.facebook.com/FlickoftheRist
Final Thoughts…..
Friday is Stampin’ Up’s Black Friday Sale, and I’m hoping we will receive a list of sale items tomorrow morning!!! I will be running a promotion corresponding at the same time, so be sure to check back!
But for now, time to get busy with the things on today’s list! Until next time, have a great day enjoying whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!!!
