What a whirlwind this week has been between Back Stage in Vegas, then St. George, Utah, and finally back to Vegas before heading home. By the time this post arrives in your email I will be flying back to St. Louis, then heading to Macon.
Yesterday we had the chance to experience The Wizard Of Oz at the Sphere, and it was totally worth the hype! The music teacher here hated the editing of the musical selections to keep it in the time frame, but still impressive, and the tornado was unreal. We were on the front row of the 2nd level, so got the full effects.

It is really difficult to describe the view of the show since it has a rounded screen that is around 180 degrees. Did we catch an apple? No, but we caught leaves blowing from the tornado and windblown hair!

I know we are all decked out in the red, but it was the lighting of the Sphere before the show began. And yes, I was brave enough to wear KC Chiefs gear in the Raiders’ town!

And since the Chiefs lost yesterday to the Broncos, a couple of their fans had to take several pictures with the losing Chiefs fan. Can’t win them all!
We’ve had a great time, enjoyed gathering and visiting with other demonstrators, but I am so very happy to be heading back to home. It may not be Kansas like Dorothy wanted, but it’s back with Pool Boy and Shelby, the canine diva, and that’s the best place to be!
