Today Is Catch-Up Day!

My goodness, it’s nice to be home but today is going to be devoted to getting caught up with things that piled up while I’ve been galavanting around. Orders have arrived and need to be packaged, dumping the suitcase and laundry, and just getting a handle on stuff that needs to be dealt with then sorted, filed, or trashed. Tomorrow we begin the whole Christmas decorating thing, so I’ll spend today getting rid of clutter and getting everything back in order before the Christmas clutter begins!!!

Above is the card I created for my St. George swap, with a couple of changes. This was the original one, but I ended up switching the baker’s twine to the Mossy Meadow and Gold ribbon. Ribbon can be a faster thing than baker’s twine and with 40 of them to make – time was important.

I did arrive in St. George with my Low Profile Sparkle gems for embellishing, but somewhere between the hotel room and the breakfast area where everyone was gathered working on their swaps they disappeared. Where did the plaid paper come from? I have boo-koos – is that even a word?? – of this pattern left over from the church samplers so perfect way to use it! I wanted a springy look, so I used the Petals Of Beauty stamp set found in the Online Exclusives.

Spring Mini Preorder Is Placed, Catalogs Are Ordered!!!
