Okay, who agrees with me??? The worst part of vacation is everything that has to be done AFTER you come home!!! Coming home is great, but it’s the STUFF that has to be put away, the mail to sort through, the house to get back in order cause you put off packing til the last possible second and left things in a mess, the laundry to start, AND the orders to be sorted!!!! These boxes arrived while we were gone, and there are two more boxes coming today! But before ANYTHING else is done, we’ve a class in a couple of hours here at the house. Everything is set up, prepped, and ready to go, then I have 4 good days to get ready for next week and try to get everything put away, organized, and back in place.
So forgive me for no project today please! BUT, be sure to check out the Final Thoughts at the bottom of the page as we celebrate a very important day today.

Final Thoughts…..

Today Pool Boy and I celebrate our 43rd anniversary!!!! What a life we have shared together being blessed over and above. Our titles grew over the years, becoming mom and dad to our two children, mother-in-law and father-in-law to our kids’ spouses, and now we enjoy the titles of nana and papa. No longer can we fit around the dining room table for meals, but instead of adding a kids’ table, we have a kids’ island in the kitchen for them.
During those 43 years we’ve only lived in three different houses, and they are ALL next to each other in a row!! The farthest we moved was an empty lot away, and we bought that lot years later. We’ve weathered the storms of job changes, health issues, and educational poverty – that’s what I call the years of college payments! And now we are sailing through the years of retirement – kind of. As long as I continue with Stampin’ Up, I keep pushing the “totally retired” phase out of the way. And Pool Boy just rolls with it, as he has all of these years.

I’m so very thankful for those 43 years, and I look forward to more years and experiences ahead with Pool Boy.
Have a wonderful day, find some time to craft and create, and until next time – God Bless.
