Yesterday we celebrated Evan’s birthday with a family dinner. Cal is a picky eater and Ben you can’t fill up. They are so different! But when it came to singing “Happy Birthday” to their daddy, they were all in. Ok – Ben isn’t singing yet, but all eyes were on the cake and candles, and since Cal’s birthday is next week, we relit the candle for him to blow out as well. When you only get to blow out the birthday candles once a year, you need to practice!!!!
I’ve had requests for yesterday’s easel fun fold card, so will be posting the tutorial tomorrow morning for you. This is a super easy card to reproduce, and works for any occasion, any person. Besides the bug card and the baby card, I also did a Valentine card which was super cute. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the tutorial.

Final Thoughts..
I need to reminisce a bit. As a little boy Evan looked so much like Pool Boy, and he dearly loved his Grandma Elda. I knew when she looked at him she was seeing her little boy all those years ago. More times than not he hugged her legs tight at the knees.
I look at Cal especially and I see Evan all those years ago. Ben has his daddy’s coloring, but he looks more like his momma. While we were babysitting this weekend, Ben toddled over to give me a hug, and he grabbed my legs just like his daddy did all those years ago. My heart kind of went to mush when it happened. I remembered seeing a little guy hugging his grandma, and now it was my turn.
Those little leg hugs are pretty special. I’ll be back tomorrow with the tutorial PDF for the easel fun fold, but until then, keep stamping, keep crafting and God Bless.
