We are in grandparent mode right now with Megan and the girls visiting. The girls and I share the craft room that has a trundle bed AND my craft supplies as part of the decor. Other than Fiona using my Magenta blend on my chair and the white door of the room when she was three, it’s all good! My LEAST favorite In Color shade and she decided it had to be the one she used! LOL. Luckily my Norwex paste removed it from the door completely, and as for the chair – just a little reminder of our cute Fi.
So with no stamping today because my craft supplies are out of the way, you will just have to see our girls and that works out well since I shared baby Calvin with you yesterday.
Nora Mae is our mini Megan in looks and attitude. Mature for her age, drama queen in training, and looking forward to being a Third grader in the fall. She loves to cook with her mom, so I had found this ice cream cake recipe with vanilla wafers for crust, a layer of hot fudge sauce covered with vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet, and crushed frozen berries. Probably won’t be worth the trouble to eat BUT she loved making it and that’s all that matters!
Fiona Margaret has her momma’s sassy attitude but where Nora’s feelings are easily hurt, Fiona just gets mad. Really mad – no screaming, just stomping her foot and walking away with her nose turned up, pondering how she will get even. Megan has already accepted the fact she will either be gray haired or have NO hair when Fi is raised. She is getting ready for Kindergarten this fall, and we can only hope and pray the teacher is getting prepared to have Fi in her classroom! LOL! You never know what will come out of her mouth, so we call these little comments and nuggets “Fiona-isms”.
So the agenda for today is early lunch so we can head to The Little Mermaid movie, then home for lasagna, garlic bread and salad. Dessert is our frozen ice cream dessert. Baby Cal and his parents will be over for dinner, then tomorrow they head home for the family reunion on their dad’s side. Thirty-six hours of no stamping so I we can enjoy the grands – not a problem. They grow too quickly, so we will gladly take them any time we can.
Until I CAN GET INTO MY CRAFT ROOM, God Bless and I hope YOU can craft today!!!

Just enjoy them to the full hilt! These moments are few and too far in between! Stamping will be there when they leave.
Mine are grown young women and I do miss them much! What is so blessed, they miss coming to stay with us! Ah, we did good! They both text us and keep us pretty much caught up with their busy lives. Last year the eldest of the two got married! We love him too! A great guy!
Blessings to you Lola with this precious time with your girls!

We are both blessed Cheryl!! It’s so much fun having those little ones running through the house and wanting to come to see their grandparents, and it’s equally fun seeing them launch as adults and find their perfect someone! Thank you for the words and I hope you and your granddaughters continue to enjoy the connections as adults as you did when they were little!
