To CASE a card: The opporttunity to Copy And Share Everything.
This goes against what they taught us in school – NO COPYING your neighbor! Eyes on your own work please. No peaking at other’s students work. Your written words must be your own – copying someone’s words is plagiarism.
Yet here in the world of papercrafting, COPYING is ENCOURAGED!!! Simply be sure to give credit when possible! We WANT you to try your hand at creating or re-creating our cards, even by giving you the measurements by PDF! Today’s card is simply CASing a photo.

Last night on our group’s FB LIVE, Pam shared this beautiful Christmas card using the Traditions Of Christmas Suite from the upcoming Holiday mini catalog. Her inspiration???? Page 24 of the new catalog. Per Stampin’ Up’s catalog guidelines I can not show the inside of a catalog prior to it going live, so you will have to check it out on your own. She used the DSP, the embossing folder, the ribbon and gems as well! This suite is stunning and will be a hot item for sure.
This card layout is an excellent one to use for churning out large amounts of cards too. Since she used our Basic White cardstock for the base and embossed panel, she only needed a small amount of the DSP. If you cut the DSP mat 4 by 2.5 inches you can get 24 mats out of the two DSP sheets! Multiply that by all of the DSP in the package and you could make over 100 of these cards with one package of DSP!
Now granted, most of us wouldn’t make that many of the same card, but it shows you how far you can stretch the DSP to make simple, beautiful cards such as Pam’s.
The Holiday Paper/Ribbon Share is OPEN For Registration!!!

The Holiday mini catalog and the upcoming Online Exclusives are loaded with some great DSP’s for papercrafting, but a package of many adds up quickly!!! Which ones will you order, which ones will you push to the backburner due to cost? Paper shares are the best way to see and experience everything with only paying a portion of the price! Each share includes 1/4 of every paper selection available! You can craft with every paper, and then order full packages of the ones you LOVE later! Same with the ribbons/trims/baker’s twine. A bit goes a long way!
And if you order BOTH the paper and ribbon shares, I will include a free package of the black/white/gold baker’s twine as well. Click on the link below for more details and to reserve your choice of shares! FYI – even though you see a message saying “this event is closed” IT’S NOT closed so just scroll down to read and register. Gotta get that fixed!
