So, I’m excited about the big news spreading all over the world yesterday with the announcement ever so casually of an engagement! Travis Kelce’s a family favorite when it comes to Chiefs’ football players (at 4 years of age Fiona Margaret called him Travis Chelsey) and he is so loved in KC it would have been big news anyways, but when you add in the name of the fiancee – truly was the news heard round the world.

We had our Popcorn Palooza class yesterday and had a great time gathering and enjoying the time together. Everybody worked at their own speed, and when you prep ahead it makes class run so much smoother! I wanted to share a quick card from yesterday, and I plan in the next day or so to record a FB Live sharing the treat box and the gift card holder which is AWESOME!! We need a video available down the road for both projects!

I love the big alphabet dies that Stampin’ Up has created, and have used them many times already. Yes, the popcorn bundle is there with the greeting and the buttery kernels, but it’s those huge letters that are the star of the show! Isn’t the black, red, yellow, and white the perfect color combo for these cards? And with a touch of Daffodil Delight ink added to the popcorn kernel with a sponge dauber you get the whole buttery effect!

Final Thoughts…

Once the engagement news was out, I called Megan to see if she heard. She hadn’t and was excited to hear it, and said the girls would be bonkers when she told them. Even Pool Boy has been in on the excitement watching stuff on social media and news from the sports world.

In the daily grind of life, we need something good like this to bring joy, sweetness, and excitement to our lives. It’s nice to see the touch of romance is still able to grab our hearts and put a smile on our face.
