I was one of those odd people who really enjoyed mathematics. There’s something about working with numbers and a mathematical operation that I loved. I enjoyed the challenge of doing those 50 extra practice problems at the end of a chapter – I was so warped! – , and I especially enjoyed word problems – something most people dread! Our granddaughter Fiona loves mathematics as well, but not her older sister Nora. Nora’s the fine arts and literature gal who will be in the high school musicals and plays, and Fiona is more of a STEM enthusiast – Science, Math, and non fiction reading. She will be a member of her Debate Team and Campus Bowl in her high school years, and Pool Boy predicts a lawyer in adulthood.
So, designing today’s card class was like a giant word problem! When you plan a card class with a limited supply of consumable products such as card stock, DSP, and ribbons, you have to work some serious problem solving skills to be sure you’ve enough supplies. Since the new products won’t be live until May, I only have so much to work with! We are limited to no more than 2 packs of card stock, two spools of ribbon, 1 ink pad per color, and two packages of DSP. (Technically, there IS a way to have 3 packages of DSP if you order the full SUITE. Problem solving demonstrators figured this out several years ago!)

The MEET THE NEW IN COLORS CARD CLASS will be available both IN PERSON as well as BY MAIL! These 5 new IN COLORS may well be my favorites in all of the years I’ve been paper crafting. The 5 colors work together beautifully, to the point that Stampin’ Up! designed a DSP just for those colors!!!

Pam and I have set the date for the IN PERSON BINGO as well as decided on the GOODY BAG PRODUCTS, and we are narrowing down the ONLINE SPEED BINGO date and materials with hopefully a decision this week. I’ll be back Wednesday morning with our Technique class project using the new In Colors and one of my favorite products – the note cards/envelopes offered by Stampin’ Up! Until then, have a great day and I hope you find some time to craft, to create, to stamp, and God Bless!!!
