Cutest Crew’s Trio Of Birds!

May is a busy month with end of school, graduations, and Mother’s Day. We were in a phase of life where Pool Boy and I had no graduation celebrations to attend. We’d kind of cycled out of graduations and babies since our children are grown, our friends are closer to retirement age, etc. Same with weddings. Obviously they’ve cycled back into our lives because this year we have 5 graduation celebrations and I’ve received invitations to two baby showers! We have parties every week end remaining of May to attend.

So today I’ve got to get graduation cards made, and the paper share order arrives today as well. In person bingo is set for next Tuesday so that means goody bags need to be stuffed and make and takes prepped, and both Technique classes are meeting next week as well, so lots of stuff to work through when we are not partying this weekend.

Aren’t these trio of black birds the cutest? I’ve been playing with the Cutest Crew Bundle using the notecards this week, and I’m surprised at the variety of stamps and dies available for creating. The white and black dotted DSP came from the Beautiful Ordinary Life package, then I used a blending brush to add a layer of Pool Party ink to fill in the white background.

The flowers and greeting are from the Cutest Crew stampset and colored in with Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, and Peaceful Pine blends. The white and black frame die cuts are from the Phrases And Frames dies, and the embellishments are party of the Array With Dots gems. Other than the notecards and the Pool Party ink everything is from the new May-August catalog that went live this week.
