Have you checked out the adorable stamp set Dear Santa???? So stinkin’ cute! Pair it with my favorite Christmas DSP Take A Bow, and you have an adorable card and it’s so easy to create!
Ok, so tell me that’s not cute?!?! I love the frustrated face of the little girl trying to write her list, the reversed lettering, and that little tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth. So typical of a little who’s trying to write their Santa list!
I used the Deckled Circles and the Spotlight On Nature dies to layer the circles for the card front. Adding in the peppermint embellishments (still on back order) and the red/white baker’s twine, it’s the perfect finishing touch. But —- there’s a surprise!!!
Throw in a cute easel funfold, and you have a fun fold perfect for a little one, a grandchild, etc. I love the color combo of this DSP of Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Garden Green. Bright, cheerful, and festive. Everything you could want in an adorable card for a special little someone!
I shared this card today live on my FB business page. Did you miss it? Not a problem though, because you can always catch the recording. Final Thoughts…..
Laundry – check! (kind of). Suitcase – packed! (NOT!). Documents – gathered, copied, and ready to go – check!! (That’s a definite given!). Rest of it – not sweating it in the least. This trip is hopefully going to be laid back, relaxing, and soaking in the views. No computer is traveling with me, so all of my posts will be scheduled ahead of time, and the only thing I am taking work-related are my calendar and bullet journal. I’ll be watching the back order list daily to be sure I know if the Changing Leaves Hybrid Folder becomes available because of several of my customers, but otherwise I hope I can unplug and recharge.
After a week of Speed Bingo, Christmas Card Class, tutorials written and emailed, classes packaged and either picked up or mailed, along with everything else this week —-we deserve it, right?! Say a prayer Pool Boy sees beautiful fall colors of the trees – he’s been waiting to take this trip for some time.
Until next time, God Bless!!!!
