A Cute Fun Fold For Waterside Retreat!

My day started at 3:44am – that’s the time I woke up, and after laying there for a while I got up and started today’s post. BUT that’s not what you should be doing in the middle of the night because I was writing about the June Paper Pumpkin kit, then realized I’d skipped over the May kit! That meant deleting everything I’d written and starting over. And I liked what I’d written, darn it.

Today’s a busy day with appointments, so skip Paper Pumpkin and let’s get to the next Waterside Retreat card for my display.

I came up with this little fun fold and it’s probably the card I’ll take to the Accountability swap next week. I try to make an effort to use all of the DSP patterns found in the package, and my first thought was the weathered wood boards for the background. First thoughts are usually the best, but not in this case with the Misty Moonlight stripes as well – too many vertical lines. So I simply turned the larger DSP mat over and fancy cut some nautical themed items from the DSP scraps to use.

Here’s a view of the inside of the card – and I stamped it after I’d assembled. Not a smart move because I see a spot of ink on the Misty Moonlight flap.
