We are again dealing with weather issues which is forcing plans to be cancelled, schools to be closed, and businesses to have late openings. When the local towing company announces on FB that they are pulling ALL SERVICE TRUCKS off the road until later in the day, you know it’s bad and you need to just stay put!
Cancelling our live bingo tonight has put me in a time crunch with getting my blog posted today, so here is a short, sweet one! A Cute Way To Gift A Microwave Popcorn Bag!!!
A friend shared with me a treat bag her dad received at a nursing home, and if you are a papercrafter like me, you start carefully de-constructing!!!! I knew that we were giving popcorn and hot cocoa treat baskets to our neighbors this past weekend – the granddaughters were visiting and they love to help me make the gifts and deliveries – and this package was a fun way to display it!!! Did you know we DO HAVE a popcorn stamp available???? It’s in the hostess stamp set CARNIVAL TREATS!!!!
I wanted the red striped DSP but did NOT have the Regals package. I DID have the Brights though, so out comes the Poppy Parade which I paired with Crushed Curry. With some paper snips and fancy snipping the popcorn containers came to life with the two colors used. And see the POP bubble above????? Recognize it??:? Its the BEE PUNCH!!!!!! And how lucky that the stamp POP is available in the Simply Sparkly stamp set, found in the Online Exclusives!!! A super cute way to package up a fun treat for office workers, teachers, or in my instance NEIGHBORS!!!
