One of the first things I encountered with paper crafters was their use of DSP. I had no clue what that was and they were throwing the initials around in conversations and I was clueless! What the heck was DSP? Took me a while to remember what those three letters stood for – DESIGNER SERIES PAPER! And when I say I have a love/hate relationship with DSP I mean it! At first I rarely used it – I loved it so much, what if I use it up and can’t order more?????? I would hate to not have it one hand when I want to make a special card for someone!!!! So then my DSP pile grew!
Several years ago a demonstrator from Australia – Kylie Bertucci – started a trend called LOVE IT, CHOP IT! Her philosophy was chop it into manageable pieces such as 4×6, so you USE it instead of SAVING in 12×12 sheets. What a novel idea! LOL! But because of Kylie’s chop it challenge, I’ve tried to break out of the save mode into the use it mode too. I still buy way too much DSP so this week I’m going to share ways to use it up – so I CAN BUY MORE!!! I’ve yet to open a Stampin’ Up! catalog and not fallen in love with the new DSP choices, so why not use up the old ones? Use the old to make way for the new, right??
This is a fun way to make fast cards AND use up extra DSP! I use the DSP to create a little pocket and tuck in the notecard that coordinates. A cute, novel idea that uses some of your extra DSP!
I will be sharing another card made like this on my FB LIVE Monday morning at 9:30 am! Click on the link below to take you to my FB Business page, and while you are there please follow me! That way you will receive notifications of my FB LIVES, classes, and news happening with Stampin’ Up!

Check back Monday because I will be providing a PDF of the measurements available to print! We ALL need PDF’s on hand to make cards without reinventing a wheel right?
